Andre E (Arsenal fan) says...
On one side many British players say that football's a man's game and that players should be able to handle the physical side of the game. But when it happens to a British player, it's dirty, cheating, career ending etc. How many times have you seen Gary Neville or Steven Gerrard or Bolton kick the lights out of players, use the "tactical foul" or the two footed lunge? This behaviour (including this tackle) is part of a wider issue in football where physicality is seen as superior to technique, and in this respect, British teams are as guilty, if not moreso, than any other teams in Europe
