Am relocating to Copenhagen. Have been going to Old Trafford for over 20yrs. Where are the good places to see games in the city? Does the supporters club meet up pre-season / during season? How many of you get to games?
try this topic in the forum, here you can also see the Pictures from "den glade gris" where a lot of United fans meet up. The address is there too.

Also here is a Map where it should be easy to find the location:

lots of united fans comes on matchdays to "The Happy pig" or in danish "Den glade gris"
If you like the atmosphere on Old Trafford, i recommend you to go there as a replacement..
Against the top clubs, there will easily bee around 200 people...
Lille Kannikestræde 3
1170 København K.
You can find the pub in the city center of copenhagen, stop by Nørreport st.
so, see you there then.. and congratulation with our Trophy :juhuuuu:

Yes, there will be singing. Just ask Casper, the owner of this site. He is always singing (or drinking). The atmosphere is very good..
And yes, 99% of the games are shown there

We came here for the game v FCK as well as the Dubliner.
Looks like this is more of a new spiritual home. I won't ask if the beer is cheap!
At "The happy pig" you can buy a beer for 20 kr. = around 1,8 pounds
but then you have to wear a United shirt. hehe
hi Stretford End 2
The lads are right, head down to the happy pig to see the united games.
We get cheap pints and at most of the games we're singing throughout the whole match.
There's some mancunians as well... but i'd say it's the danes who leads the singing :D
Checkout the pictures from the pub... I don't think you'll find that kind of atmosphere and singing in many cities outside the UK...
Are you coming down to any of remaining the games this season?
We expect over 200 fans tomorrow for the Chelsea.
Will we see you there? :)

No, will be at OT for the West Ham game and to see the trophy. Spent up on away money going to Milan last week.
Need to change the fact that the Danes are leading the chants! My season tickets are in the Upper tier in the Stretford End so may have a few new songs to bring next season.
Fair play though, the Happy Pig does look like it gets going.
Do many get over to Manchester?
yeah, there's a few going to the west ham game as well..
And we're 3 persons going to the final.
At the Villa game in january we were over 20 people from the happy pig, who went over to the game together. It was a cracking trip!
This season, i've been to Chelsea(h), Villa(h), Copenhagen(a), Benfica(a), Rome(a), Watford(villa park) and going to the fa final...

I don't think there has been a single game this season, apart from the Europe XI one, that has not been shown there.
On a regular Saturday, there will perhaps be 30-100 people in for a game I think. But the big games fill the place up to the 200 people, people are talking about.
As United fans we are treated quite well, with cheap beer 1h before and during the game. And even cheaper if you are in your United shirt.
We don't see many other fan fractions there, apart from the Barcelona fans that gather there for their matches too and the very occasional FC Copenhagen fans. It rarely collides, tv wise, and if it does, I think its safe to say that we buy the most beer = we get the best screens. :)
"Grisen" is definately the place to be for the games.
Found this video, that should give some indication of what can happen there(Ok, it is crap videowise, but the noiselevel is severely understated in it :-) ).

Good call. Did all the away Europeans this year and most of the northern away matches. Sad that West Ham will be my last season...
I met Pete Boyle last summer on his way back from Copenhagen - was it you guys he was with>?
See you all at the start of the season then.
Yes, the scandinavian branch held a party in copenhagen and oslo to celebrate their 25th year as a branch.
